The Peapod concept is a very clever idea for households that only want to use cars to go to shopping, or to go out to have fun in the mall. The Chrysler’s Global Eco Mobility unit developed a car with a $12,000 price tag that only can go with a maximum 25 MPH speed and the maximum distance is just 30 miles with one charge.
